Hopefully you enjoyed Part 1 of our Game of Thrones family tree series. In Part 2, we’re going to discuss more of the many noble houses around Westeros. The house sigil artwork at the top of this post is by Renaud Forestié
“The Tyrells rose to power as the stewards of the Kings of the Reach, whose domain included the fertile plains of the southwest from the Dornish marches and Blackwater Rush to the shores of the Sunset Sea. Through the female line, they claim descent from Garth Greenhand, gardener king of the First Men, who wore a crown of vines and flowers and made the lands bloom. When King Mern, last of the old line, perished on the Field of Fire, his steward Harlen Tyrell surrendered Highgarden to Aegon Targaryen, pledging fealty. Aegon granted him the castle and dominion over the Reach. The Tyrell sigil is a golden rose on a grass-green field. Their words are ‘Growing Strong’.”
The Tyrell Family
Hello GoT fans, this has been the best and saddest episode so far in the season. It was hard to see all these Game of Thrones se6ep5 memes and create this post without holding some tears in and remembering the last episode. I am still emotionally burned 🙁
It was good to see Theon getting his self-esteem back, but he’s still not even close to the cocky guy from the first season. Of course, after everything that happened to him, it will be hard to ever have the Theon from season 1 back, even more so now that his uncle (really handsome version of Theon, they are soo similar, great casting) is back to throw his “small” issue in his face. Obviously we expected a lot more appearances of this in the Game of Thrones se6ep5 memes.
Watching Game of Thrones and don’t know your Starks from your Greyjoys? Well we’re here to help with a little guide to the families of Game of Thrones, a who’s who of Westeros. Enjoy Part 1 of our guide and you can find Part 2 here. Beware, there will be SPOILERS…
“The youngest of the Great Houses, born during the Wars of Conquest. Its founder, Orys Baratheon, was rumoured to be Aegon the Dragon’s bastard brother. Orys rose through the ranks to become one of Aegon’s fiercest commanders. When he defeated and slew Argilac the Arrogant, the last Storm King, Aegon rewarded him with Argilac’s castle, lands, and daughter. Orys took the girl to bride, and adopted the banner, honors and words of her line. The Baratheon sigil is a crowned stag, black, on a golden field. Their words are ‘Ours Is The Fury’.”

It’s time for my weekly meme appearance and the comedy that ensues due to some of the memorable moments of Game of Thrones Se6ep4. The memes on the back of these are brilliant, I think they get funnier and funnier every week.
The above image goes with the childishness that ensued with the small council meeting. It just felt like they were back in primary school with their little cliques. Glad this was the subject to a meme, it deserved it.
Fantastic! This guy is very sadistic and loves a good torture session, he’s even taken to torturing apples now and this amusing meme adding in the Theon reference as well. He can’t torture him (or cut any more body parts off) so he’s forced into torturing an apple. Although we all know how the end of this scene went so at least he managed to satisfy some of his sadistic urges!
Continuing with the theme from last weeks Game of Thrones Se6ep3 memes post, I laughed and enjoyed them so much that I thought I’d make it a weekly appearance. So without further ado here are my favourites from this week…
Rickon Stark is back yayyyyyy, in Ramsay hand, nooooo :O
The above photo depicts something that I’ve been thinking about for some time. There are a few characters that we haven’t seen for quite a while! I want to know their stories, I hope the creators bring back these soon!
These two come hand in hand and is exactly what I was thinking whilst I was watching the show. Khal Moro is nowhere near as impressive, handsome, attractive or ripped as Khal Drogo!! These two memes epitomise exactly the way I was feeling when I saw Khal Moro for the first time.
I would like first to apologise for the image quality in this Game of Thrones post, I had to find them from random websites.
It has been 4 days since the screening of the second episode of Game of Thrones, so there has been enough time for everyone to watch the episode and see memes popping up all over the place, like microwave popcorn.
So we decided to share our favourites from this episode. The first image, above, made me laugh so much! Lovely bit of Photoshop to swap the baby for Pedigree dog food, as we all now know the baby became dog food not long after!! Brilliant.
Roose Bolton getting his comeuppance was amazing. The maniac who killed our beloved Robb Stark has karma come and bite him in the ass… think this meme sums it up quite nicely.
With the same reference to the first image, this is brilliant. The look on Ramsey’s face says it all! So simple yet so funny!
